Our family visit to the pumpkin patch!!!!

We got up early and headed to the pumpkin patch this morning and had a really good time!  Keegan loved it.  Keep in mind I was trying to take pictures, but ended up with video.  Even AFTER Jarod told me where the picture button was =) Enjoy.

First day of school

Keegan's first day of day care was yesterday. He didn't even notice Mom and Dad leaving. He just started playing with a toy truck, we kissed him, said 'good-bye' and left.

Apparently, he had much fun verbalizing and showing the other toddlers things like "choo choo train", "car", and so on. He was a bit difficult to get out of the sandbox, too.

Water Park

Took Keegan to the water park yesterday. He had lots of fun! We were there for 1.5 hours and that was plenty to wear him out. Afterwards, we went Old Country Kitchen County Buffet (or something) and ate all we could eat! For Keegan, it was mostly garlic bread and ice cream.

Lots of updates, no pictures

Keegan is now two. He can:


Sing Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star and the Alphabet Song.

Makes up lyrics in the tune of his favorite song. For example, "Ducks, I like ducks" and "Pizza, I like pizza."

Apparently, he loves everyone one at Meijer (that's a Midwest grocery chain for you west coast relatives) after announcing "I wub you" to almost everyone we walked by on our way to the check-out.

"Read", in it's entirety, Hurry! Hurry!.

Eating bananas, quesadillas, sandwiches, and bagels without have them pre-cut into bite-size pieces.

As of last weekend, he can go up AND down stairs by himself... counting the whole way there, up to about 15 and finishing it off with a Count-like "ah, ah, ah"!

Yesterday, Keegan and I took a bus ride downtown. He had pancakes and danced to the drummers!

Keegan's spring weekend.

 First it was off to Princess Lydia's and Evans, for Lydia's Birthday party, then to the petting zoo.  Which he LOVED.  I have a lot more pictures, I just didn't feel like cutting them all down to size to post.  Perhaps later =)

18 months!

Keegan turned 18 months this weekend. He had his 18 mo. check-up yesterday. 34.25 inches tall, 29.2 lbs, 20in. head circumference.

Aaron and Tammy got Kee this awesome Batman suit on their trip to California. Keegan and I were watching Batman, and all of a sudden he starts shouting Bama .. Bama. So I dug out the suit, though it is a bit big on him and he LOVES it. He is so cute!!!

Keegan can now drink out of a juice box!!

Keegan has mastered the juice box. It took him a couple of tries, but he got it!!!!

I have started to babysit a 10 month old named Tyler. Keegan has a playmate now, they thought it was so funny to climb over the pillows and roll on the blanket. They were having a really great time. I'm just so happy that Keegan has someone to socialize with on a regular basis. They get along so well, and Tyler is just the sweetest little boy =).
