This footage was shot using my Mac Book Pro's built-in iSight camera and microphone. The "then" portion, Keegan was about a month old. The "now" portion was from about three weeks ago. (I assumed my "everything just works" Mac would automatically apply a proper timestamp to the movies when I captured them. Turns out it doesn't.)

The still at the beginning was part of the following footage, but the opening few seconds were choppy. Fortunately, it still captured this image of one of Keegan's very first smiles!

Crawling!

After about a month of belly flops, rocking, and false starts, Keegan has started crawling! He can now consistently propel himself forward. Each day he struggles less and moves a little more efficiently. Keegan can also freely stand on two feet for about 10-15 seconds before sitting back down.

Keegan has another incisor working it's way up through his bottom gums.

Belly time is limited. Keegan seems to have more fun practicing his walk and standing. The little daredevil will grab a support object (crib, couch, sliding glass door, dad, and so on) and defiantly let go with one hand. You can almost see him thinking about what he's gonna do when the other hand is let free. He'll psyche himself up and let go!

He'll usually flop down pretty quickly. If mom or I get Keegan in just the right position and with minimal wobble, he can stand up for a good two seconds on his own.

Video of this exciting phenomena should be forthcoming. (Though, admittedly, I've been sluggish with the video updates.)
